For those who aren't familiar with Merbecke's setting of the Creed, here is the original in the Book of Common Prayer Noted (1550). First performed by John Keys, during the Communion service at St Mary's on 27th June 2004. Nice.
sur un thème de Frédéric Chopin, Fantasie-Impromptu, Op.66 (original key C# minor, pictured right).
I wrote a slightly more "upbeat" version of this piece in C major, which eventually became a piano arrangement for three hands. It was performed at the MusSoc Leavers' Cabaret on the 10th June 2004, two of the three hands being supplied by Sophie Allen.
I have no idea whether I wrote this tune, or heard it somewhere. Identify it and you might win a prize! Anyway, it quickly grew into this hideous musical travesty. If you really want to see what it looks like, here's a page. I recently remembered that I wrote words as well. You don't want to know what the words are.
